Looks like it needs a little work, but I love these cars and all in all it looks decent.

Hmm, I recall driving one of these back in the day and liking it, too.
My one concern is over that new back window and somewhat ratty back seat.
If it was missing that window and sitting outside for long, that interior could be a mold and mildew nightmare.

My mom had the same car only in red. It was a great car for tearing up the miles. It had something like 380k when she finally sold it and outside of regular maintenance, it never gave her issues. Always seemed to ride/handle decent, great mileage, acceptable power.
This one looks pretty nice overall. From the pics the inside looks like it needs a good cleaning, but I don’t see much too concerning. The seat shows some grime on the sides, but the bottom looks “normal”.
I think it’d be worth checking out. Clean up the rust spot, clean the interior, replace the headliner, and have a cheap/comfortable ride to tear up miles.

Definitely worth checking out - $950 for a decent looking runner is potentially a great deal.
Is it nearby to you?

4hrs away if I take the Ferry across.
Otherwise it’s about a 6 hr drive.

Ah, I saw Muskegon and figured it was probably Michigan.

Seems I always find decent stuff in Michigan.
If it’s not Michigan, it’s in Iowa.......

I know they don’t salt up in northern Michigan but thought that was true in WI and MN, too?

Northern WI doesn’t salt. The rest of the state does, in large amounts.
I don’t recall if MN does or not.
I can say I much prefer the roads up north in the Winter. They may not be clear, but they aren’t a sloppy slushy mess either. The sand adds traction on ice and helps to melt things. Assholes need to start using sand around here.

Yeah, with sand and packed snow, the roads aren’t bad at all, as long as you know what you are doing.
But around the Chicago area they salt the hell out of everything. To the point where the salt is a half inch deep in places. It is ridiculous.

They do that around here, salt to the point it’s slicker than the snow it replaced.

Best is when we get a mild winter, and get a couple of inches late in the season. They double down on the salt distribution, in order to use up their budget, because it’s ‘use it or lose it’ with the salt budget.

That was this winter.
They must have had an excess of spray salt reserve as well, they laid that crap numerous times the last couple snowfalls.
